Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Bulgaria: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the leading five maps and navigation applications on the Android platform in Bulgaria showcased varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 6.3K at the beginning of January and peaking at 7.3K by the end of March. The app’s weekly active users fluctuated, beginning the quarter at about 269K, dipping mid-quarter, and ending at around 277K.

Radar - Speed Camera Detector experienced a gradual rise in weekly downloads, reaching about 2.2K by early February and concluding the quarter with a drop to 1.3K. Its weekly active users followed a similar trend, peaking at approximately 2.6K in mid-March before slightly declining.

Moovit: Your Transit Tracker saw a modest growth in weekly revenue, with a peak of $241 in late February. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging between 1.6K and 2.2K, while active users showed a significant increase, starting at 73.8K and peaking at over 101K by the end of March.

GPS Satellite Maps: Live Earth had a notable rise in downloads, beginning at 783 and reaching a high of 2.1K by mid-February. Active users mirrored this growth, ending the quarter with an increase from 395 to 718.

Shell demonstrated a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 1.8K in late February. Its active user numbers also rose, starting the quarter at 13.1K and finishing at 13.6K.
